Anyone who knows me knows that I have been at the forefront of creating economic development opportunities in the 1st District and across the entire city for more than a decade now.

Crime

The easy availability of both legal and illegal guns is a huge part of the crime problem. As Senator, I will fight to give Philadelphia the right to create and enforce its own gun control laws.

I am a huge proponent of increasing vocational-technical education opportunities for Philadelphia's youth. We have to come to the realization that the traditional high school curriculum is not for every child.
